Using Your My Desired Lifestyle Mindset and Future Self Refillable Notebook

Using Your My Desired Lifestyle Mindset and Future Self Refillable Notebook

When you purchased your MDL Notebook, you created a new daily routine that’s focused on consistency, repetition, and simplicity. The MDL Goal Setting Method includes a customizable Daily Goal Setting eco-friendly insert along with the ability to mix and match Unlined or Lined eco-friendly inserts. We kept it simple for a reason - life can be challenging, and reaching your goals shouldn’t be.

How To Use Your Daily Goal Setting Insert
With MDL, there’s monthly and daily repetition of writing out your goals. Why? Writing things out daily leads to a 42% increase in goal achievement and there’s power in repetition. Science shows that daily repetition is needed for personal growth and creating new habits. Growth and new habits are what lead to you reaching your goals and living your desired lifestyle.

The MDL 90-Day Goal Setting System includes some structure, a lot of repetition, without being overly complicated.

Day One: Create a Roadmap of Small Daily Tasks to Reach Your Desired Lifestyles and Goals
Page two and three are the places to start the first of every month.

  1. On page two list your top 10 desired Lifestyles/Goals for the month or year. This is your brain dump. List everything you want to accomplish, where you want to be, what you want to do. Examples: Go to Paris, land a new client, lose 5 pounds, buy a new home.
  2. Now circle the top three that you really want to focus on this month. For this exercise, we’re going to circle “buy a new home,” “lose 5 pounds,” and “land a new client.”
  3. On page three list out all the small daily steps needed to make those top three into a reality. Some tasks will be repetitive, doing the same each day, while others will vary. We strongly recommend smaller actionable tasks to increase your chance of accomplishing them as we know life can be stressful and busy. Examples of tasks:
    1. Buy a New Home:
      1. Sign up to receive new listings
      2. Get prequalified for a loan
      3. Add $1,000 to savings monthly for down payment
      4. Do 5 additional sales emails a day to increase income/down payment
    2. Lose 5 Pounds:
      1. Join a gym
      2. On Monday, write out daily exercises and also when and where
      3. Reach out to Sarah to be a workout friend
      4. Create a food journal to track calories
      5. Drink 8 glasses of water a day
    3. Land a New Client
      1. Research industry events and go to at least one this month
      2. Sign up for 5 events this quarter
      3. Read industry news daily for ~10 minutes
      4. Incentivize current clients with a referral bonus and launch it this month
      5. Go on LinkedIn daily to connect with network
  4. The tasks you list on page three will be used in the Daily Pages which start on page four.

Day One + Every Day Of The Month: How to Use Your Daily Pages
Starting on page four you have the mindset exercises that work for you (which you chose when you purchased your MDL Notebook) – either daily Gratitude + Wins, Affirmations + Wins, or Gratitude + Affirmations.

There are also two to-do lists: future life – the Lifestyles you’re working towards (i.e. info from pages 2 and 3) and current life – the things you must do, like pay the bills and take the dog to the groomer. We did this intentionally, so you can clearly see where your energy’s going. At the end of the day/week, look back at the pages and see what’s crossed off. It’s a great signal of where your energy is being used.

Mindset Exercises and To-do-Lists (Left Side of Page)

  1. Reframing Your Mindset Exercises: On the top of the page is the mindset exercises you picked, so either:
    • Gratitude + Wins Insert: Add in what you're grateful for and today’s wins.
    • Gratitude + Affirmations Insert: Add in what you are grateful for and today’s affirmations.
    • Affirmations + Wins Insert: Add in today’s affirmations and wins.
  2. Desired Lifestyle To-do List: On the middle of the page is the dedicated space to write out three goals and the small daily tasks that you’ll focus on for the day (use the information from pages 2 and 3 to complete this section).
  3. Current Lifestyle To-do List: On the bottom of the page is the dedicated space to keep your current life afloat. What do you need to do today for work, life, family, friends, yourself?

Notes Page with Inspirational Quotes (Right Side of Page)
This is the space for you for the day. Apply it as you need. Ideas for this space:

  • Write down any thought that comes to mind
  • Capture random notes
  • Expand your to-do list
  • Map out tasks for an upcoming event or trip
  • Make a calendar that works with how you manage your time
  • Manifest your Desired Lifestyle by repeatedly writing what you want then visualize and feel it
  • Shift your mindset: having a negative thought? Write it out and then write out a positive thought
  • Create a habit tracker on Sunday or Monday for the things you track such as workouts, meal planning, water, sleep, etc.
  • Use it as a planning page for the week: write out everything that needs to be done and then assign each task to a specific day

The Notes Pages via Lined or Unlined Eco-friendly Insertshow you use them is up to you.

Embracing the art of simplicity and repetition, with a touch of personalization and enduring style, your dreams deepen into your subconscious and then you’ll make conscious efforts to achieve them.

Write in Style,
